Oh, stress. Everyone’s favorite topic.
I bet most of us can agree that it’s typically over-glorified, and also over-documented. We all get – stress is bad and apparently nobody knows how to manage it. And yet I’m here talking about it with you as well!
Managing stress is personal. There are a million and one ways to manage it, and some tactics don’t work for some people. The more information the better, because something might just resonate with a couple people.
So I figured it timely to put out a quick, yet relaxing, yoga flow this week (of course you can do this at any time). With the thick of the holiday season here, it’s so important to take even a little bit of time for yourself – however that needs to look for you.

And you don’t need to carve out hours a day to get that little bit of personal time to decompress. Give yourself fifteen minutes (like with this yoga flow! *shameless plug*), with a walk around the neighborhood or just finding a quiet spot to read a couple chapters of your current book.
With that, I have three easy tips to to manage holiday stress (or anytime stress 🙂 ).
Give Yourself Space
This is worth saying again – give yourself some kind of space. It doesn’t matter how long it is, but be sure to give yourself whatever time you can. Prioritize yourself just a bit.
Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff
Give yourself grace with things like eating, fitting in a “proper” workout (or not). Let go of the idea that you need to do enough. Do what you can with what you have and let the rest be.
If you need to move, then go move for a little bit. Movement isn’t reserved for an hour-long killer workout or a 90-minute hot yoga class.
Get Good Sleep
Do your best to get good, solid sleep. You’ll feel significantly refreshed and energized. Stick with your evening routine to make sure this happens.
