Sunday Summit

Are you someone who dreads heading back into the “real life” on Monday? As if your only time to decompress and reset is ending for another five days.

I hear you.

I felt like this for a long time (and sometimes still do!). But I eventually started to recognize these patterns of dread and sadness, which seemed ridiculous because every days is “real life” – not just my day job.

The concept of a “Sunday Summit” was gifted to me during my yoga teacher training course and I consider one of the pivotal rituals that helped transform each week.

I was able to reflect on the good, recognize that I ALWAYS had something to be grateful for and invite in who I wanted to be in the upcoming week. And on the surface, these seem like things that don’t have much impact – but I found that with consistency, my mindset started to shift.

I felt anchored in a positive mindset almost* every day.
*No one’s perfect. 😉

This is where I felt compelled to create the Mariah White Yoga’s version of the Sunday Summit.

There are simple tools that can drastically improve each day – and while there are countless ways to do so, I’m delighted to offer the MWY way of grounding each week.

For many of us, Sunday is the end of our week, which is a wonderful time to create some kind of ritual (not necessarily routine), instead of feeling overwhelmed and saddened by Monday approaching.

Your Sunday Summit consists of:

  • Being Grateful
  • Embracing the GOOD
  • Setting Priorities
  • Inviting in How You Want to FEEL

That’s it. Four simple ways to ending each week and starting the next feeling grounded, grateful and organized. Did you know there are research studies about the benefits of gratitude? And no, you don’t even have to do yoga to keep track of what you’re grateful for.

Ready to summit?

I thought so.
