It’s one of those weeks. You’re losing track of what you need to do. You’re making silly mistakes.
You’re off. You’re “not yourself”.
And do this over and over a few times, and you start to feel small. You feel deflated.
REMINDER: this is a perfectly normal human thing to experience.
We all fall flat and lose our confidence. BUT, I have good news: we can always take actions towards getting ourselves out of that funk.
Take small steps.
Determine the one best next step and do that. Don’t focus on anything else until that one small step is done, then you can focus on moving on.

Track your progress.
It’s easy to feel like you’re not moving forward. Write down what you want to accomplish, how you’re going to do it and then once you’ve finished that step, come back and note how it went. And also be sure to applaud yourself on taking action!
Do things that you love
I’m not sure how many times I’ve said this before on MWY, but always, always, always make time to do things that bring you immense joy. Give yourself 15 to 30 minutes to read, do yoga, go for a walk – whatever it is – make it happen.
When we feel good, we do good.
Change your self-talk.
We all know that in “off” days, we can catch ourselves saying things like “I suck today”. And this is where YOU get to control how you feel. Remember that sometimes the woo-woo shit is where changes happen. The worst thing that can happen is that this doesn’t work. 😉
Take 30 seconds and give yourself a mantra, like any of the below:
“I am strong”
“I am infinitely capable”
“I am intelligent”
You get the gist. Take a moment to determine what you need to bring in, and then take an extra moment to actually allow yourself to do just that.
Don’t go yet! If you want to get organized and reset for each week, be sure to fill out the form below to snag your copy of the Sunday Summit worksheet. You’ll be glad you did.
